Derby week! Check out the fun below!
Students started Thursday morning off right by finger painting as soon as they came in.
By Friday, the kiddos' finger paintings turned into these masterpieces. I hope you found the perfect spot in your home to display this for the 142nd Derby.
Kiddos used the end of a celery bunch and red paint to stamp their own rose in honor of the Run for the Roses.
Our final letter was S, for "shoe." Or in this case horse "shoe."
Students also finished up the week with our final number, 15!
Rockin' his derby hat.
On Friday, the kiddos colored a picture of a horse that they named themselves. Students also told Mrs. Kendra and Mrs. Karen what their horse liked to eat, where it lived, and what color it would be. You will find these in your child's binder that will come home on the last day of school.
